Suzanne Weixel has been writing and editing career and technical education textbooks for so long. Even she has lost count of the number of books she has had published. She started her career as the New Products Editor at Computerworld, a weekly trade magazine published by IDC, Corp. Moreover, She can develop curriculum materials. A couple of her most recent titles include Introduction to Computers and Information Technology, Preparing for IC3, and Learning Audio/Video Production, published by Pearson Education.
In her role as the Director of Research, Suzanne tracked trends in enrollments, educational standards, and professional development, and coordinated the development of course materials in response to those trends. She particularly enjoys talking with CTE educators . Especially to learn directly from them how to develop curriculum materials that suit their needs.
Suzanne graduated from Dartmouth College in 1981 with a degree in art history. She and her husband currently live in Marlborough, MA, where they enjoy cooking (and eating), bicycling, and watching sports. They have two adult sons who make them very proud.
